i record my races once in a while. Its kind of entertaining. I recorded clips of the figure 8 nationals track to put together on that video I made. But after a while it resorts back to regular Zanesville when I try to watch the videos again. I dont know exactally why

dont be afraid to keep trying to make new 3d models and paint jobs. you can do it. you dont need to be an artist, you just need the will to do it and a little patience. ive made a lot of shitty cars that I've deleted eventually

Good, because Shitty cars is what your going to see. LOL. All these fancy paintjobs, and I just do simple and very bad SPRAY bomb in MS paint and it looks like crap. Just like when I was a kid and thought writing that writing TURKEY on the side of the car was a masterpiece right up there with YOU SUCK.

On another note...

With regards to damage appearing on the cars in a regular game, not preran cars or anything special just the regular damage as occurs when a car is hit.

How does this happen? I noticed a few cars, like the BADD Caddy doesn't seem to show anykind of rear end damage in the game. Yet other "NEW" cars that are made show some damage as the game progresses.

Is this progressive damage incorporated into the game naturally?

I never have understood how the damage models work. or where the data that determines this is at.

That's unfortuneate. I want to find a way to adjust the way the damage is delivered to the body. The way it works is a bit silly with the entire body collapsing and exposing the wheels. Its not to bad, but what annoys me is how the entire wheelwells move. I would prefer that the part of the wheelwells closer to the cab shouldn't be moving inwards when hit.

exactally

If I could, I would change this and then I would attempt to make cars fold up like the real ones. Trunks go up, down, and inward, instead of just warping.

Showstopper, if you want, I'll take a look at your files and see if I can find anything wrong.

Anyone know where I can get winzip or something like it for free? My evaluation period ran out.

winzip still works after the trial period is up. you just have to wait for it to count to 150 days before it will let you accept.
